Google announced search with Generative AI, which it announced on May 10, 2023. From this date on, Google will use more AI in searches to provide more information to users in search results.
Artificial intelligence, which was previously used in products such as Google Lens, will now play a more active role in searches. With Google Search Generative AI technology, it will be able to answer the questions searched by the users and thought to be unanswered, and will be able to collect and organize the information and answer them.
With the integration of artificial intelligence into Google searches, faster results are created for the searches made by the users. Searches show results with newer perspectives with Generative AI, and artificial intelligence makes this process even easier.
For example, in the example below published by Google, “what’s better for a family with kids under 3 and a dog, bryce canyon or arches.” When a search is done, you would normally gather information by examining the results listed. Generative AI collects information about the subject sought and presents it to the user.
At the same time, Google shares the shared articles on the subject on the search results page.
By using the “Ask a follow up” button, you can ask other follow-up questions related to the subject. This structure proceeds by preserving the integrity of the subject as questions are asked. It also recommends articles shared by websites on the web about the subject being searched.
Generative AI directly filters the data you want to reach about the product you are looking for while shopping. Descriptions of the products, current comments, votes, prices and pictures of the products will also be listed.
Search Generative Experience is the release of AI-powered results. This structure has given all its support directly to Google Search. Initially, it will be available in English in the United States and will be tested on the Google application on Chrome Desktop, Android and IOS platforms, and will be developed based on feedback.
